We are very pleased to announce the launch of a new film about AMURT UK, depicting the work we have been doing in response to Covid-19 in London watch it here & share!
Nandita Lovage, the films director and producer, was selected by the Independent Film Trust for their highly sought after mentoring scheme Talent Led, a programme designed to support diversity in the film industry.
Nandita was reeling from the scary changes that the pandemic had caused and was looking for ways to help the community. She decided to use her filmmaking skills to highlight some of the amazing and selfless work happening around her.
She created two short documentaries as part of a series Hungry in London follows individuals, community groups and charities – in their efforts to feed the most vulnerable people in our society during the Covid-19 pandemic. AMURT UK was one of the charities she chose to follow.
